Things that go bump, growl and howl in the night add an extra-scary touch to Halloween fun at The Gulf Breeze Zoo.

The zoo celebrates the scary season among the wild animals Oct. 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30. The weekend events feature evening activities such as rides, games, a spooky haunted house and a train ride into the abyss. Hands on activities let kids get close to creepy creatures. Extended zoo hours from 6 to 10 p.m. with the first train ride at 7:30 p.m..
