Santa Rosa County Horse Assistance Council Wildlife Safari Trail Ride

The Santa Rosa County Horse Assistance Council Wildlife Safari Trail Ride takes riders on a wooded tour beginning at the Coldwater Recreation Park in Milton.

There will be educational information and a Safari Hunt for those not owning a horse

Last year the event drew almost 200 local and regional riders from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and as far away as Pennsylvania.

The ride is a fundraiser for SRCHAC to assist horse owners in the county. The group also offers educational programs, training and seminars quarterly in conjunction with the Extension Office. The classes are offer to anyone who owns a horse or is interested in acquiring a horse or anyone with an interest in veterinarian medicine or working with large animals.

Take to the trail October 15. Register at 8 a.m., ride starts at 10 a.m. at the Coldwater Recreation Park, 8049 Horseshoe Loop Milton, Fla.
