Fenner McConnell/Matt Wantz Blackwater Heritage Century Ride

Ready to ride 100 miles? The Century ride, sponsored by the West Florida Wheelmen, is a chance for area bicyclists to push their abilities to the limit with the opportunity to bike 100 miles. The ride starts on the Blackwater Heritage Trail, and Other ride distances are 18, 43 and 62 miles. The Blackwater Heritage Trail offers a unique chance to bike through Northwest Florida’s natural environment and see native wildlife.

The ride will be held October 22 at 8 a.m., registration at 7 a.m., beginning at the Milton Community Center, 5629 Byrom Street, Milton. Cost is $25.00 to pre-register, $35 day of ride. There will be no refunds due to the fundraising nature of the event. The ride benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Rails to Trails project in Milton. Registration includes post-ride food, event T-shirt, and support and maps for the trip.
