Through the use of innovative container, raised bed, active and passive hydroponics, and high tunnel gardening, Clear Creek Farm produces about 100 different varieties of vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. The farm’s vegetable produce has been featured on menus of some of the finest restaurants in Pensacola. You can learn how they do it on farm tours throughout October.

Harvest Dinner to Raise Money for Jay UF Center

The Fall Harvest Dinner is set to draw rural and city folk alike with the aim of helping enhance education and community outreach at the University of Florida’s West Florida Research & Education Center near Jay. The event is planned for Oct. 24 at the center. Tickets are $50 if purchased online by noon on the day of the event. Admission is $60 at the door.
