Clear Creek Farm offers tours, workshops at innovative farm

| 2015

In a space barely bigger than some folks’ backyard, Clear Creek Farm is bringing a new perspective to agriculture in North Santa Rosa County. “We have 30 acres but utilize only about two for our growing and apple grafting orchard operations,” said Ray Davis, who owns Clear Creek Farm with his wife, Wanda. “We grow in very non-traditional ways and espouse the simplicity and low cost of growing a lot of food efficiently in a small space with less water, without the use of a lot of chemical fertilizers and insecticides.”
Just how the Davises grow so much in such a small space will be the topic of tours available through most of October as part of the Beaches to Woodlands Tour.
